TURN AROUND TIME: Our average turnaround time for for a piece is between 4 and 6 weeks (not including delivery). Larger orders may take longer. You will be notified If your pieces are on backorder.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY: Because of the nature of the products our preference is that collection or delivery happens by hand. If shipping is required the customer will be responsible for all shipping and insurance costs.
INSURANCE: We have had a few heartbreaks so require insurance on shipped items.
RETURN POLICY: Due to the nature of the creation process, every item will have slight variation. Some may see this as flaws but we celebrate the character of a handmade vessel. Therefore, though we stand by our work and guarantee quality, we do not guarantee “perfection”. For this reason we invite you to visit the studio and select and collect your future heirlooms. CUSTOM ORDERS: We typically take orders for the current collection of dinner ware, however we are always interested to hear what you may have in mind to determine if your concept is something that Particle Ceramics can accommodate.
Classes
WHAT TO EXPECT:
The class will last about 2 hours.
Classes typically have 2 students and 1 teacher.
The studio is based in a residential house.
Expect to be in a safe environment to have fun and be free to “fail”. We embrace mistakes as the quickest way to learn and grow.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Flat shoes
Clothes that you can easily wash (clay does not stain)
Hair ties (if needed)
(Aprons are provided)
WHERE TO PARK: The studio is located at the top of a gravel driveway with an incline. (We navigate it daily in non 4 wheel drive vehicles). If you have something low profile it may be best to park in the cul de sac and walk up. If you do venture up the drive way feel free to park anywhere.
CANCELLATION POLICY: *Please note that once you have booked an class with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. If you cancel your class less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you will be subject to a rebooking charge of $30.
To avoid a cancellation fee, please provide cancellation notice at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.

*Due to our up-front costs and strict time and dates, we are unable to refund events (eg: An introduction to Ceramics) If something unforeseen arrises, please let us know and we will do all we can.
LIABILITY WAIVER AND USER AGREEMENT
By signing up for a class you hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims and damages for personal injury, death, or property damage which you may sustain or which may occur as a result of your own participation with Particle Ceramics
